This is a 1999 Nissan Navara which was imported from Japan and first registered in the UK in 2015. It is now a campervan with 5 belted seats has a 2.4 litre petrol engine and has been converted so it also runs on LPG (currently 95p per litre), has an automatic gearbox with overdrive, selectable 2 or 4 wheel drive, electric windows all round, air conditioning and a Pioneer DAB radio/CD player with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. There is also a reversing camera and a limited rear view through the window on the back door. The rear of the van contains a 2-burner cooker, a sink, a fridge, a table and plenty of smart storage spaces. The rear converts into a double bed, the space above the cabin can be used as a bed for a child and it also comes with a 3 metre by 3 metre Westfield inflatable drive away awning with a separate bedroom, with normal and heavy duty tent pegs. The awning rail is located on the driver's side. Also included is a 10 metre electric hook up - the hook up is located underneath the van near the exhaust - and an unused flushable porta potty with chemicals. It's very easy to drive and we have been on trips to the Lake District, Scotland, the Midlands and several places on the south coast without problems. As you would expect from a vehicle of this size and age it isn't fast but it is comfortable and reliable. The bodywork is acceptable but a little tatty in places. We're only selling as we're getting too old and because we're short in stature so find some of the normal actions like hitching up an awning more difficult. We paid 10K for the van and have spent extra on four new tyres, an awning and awning rail, a new radio/CD player, a new reversing camera, a porta potty (never used) and lots of other bits and pieces. We know we will miss Nelly - my wife's name for the van - when she is sold and just hope she goes to a couple or family who will love her as much as we do and make lots of wonderful new memories with her.
